TROUBLESHOOTING HUB

5G Home Internet

A clear result starts with the right question: where in the connection does the problem begin?

Separate the possible causes

Before changing settings, test enough to identify the likely side of the system. Similar symptoms can come from very different places.

Provider network

Outages, maintenance, capacity, or time-of-day congestion upstream.

Cellular & gateway

The outdoor-to-indoor radio link, placement, heat, power, or gateway state.

Local Wi-Fi

Distance, walls, interference, Wi-Fi bands, or home-network equipment.

Device & app

A single device, software setting, VPN, service, or workload.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDES

Start with your symptom

Use controlled tests

Write down the starting condition, change one variable, allow the gateway time to reconnect, and repeat the same test. A wired comparison, when your equipment supports it, can help distinguish an internet-side issue from local Wi-Fi. Keep electrical equipment dry and ventilated, do not defeat safety features, and follow provider and manufacturer directions.
